BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Celebrate the Town of Leland’s 23rd birthday this weekend with the town’s biggest party of the year.
This year’s Founders’ Day celebration will take place Saturday, September 8 at 4:00 p.m. at the Brunswick Forest Commercial area.
The event will feature live entertainment, children’s activities, food, vendors, fun and more. The evening will culminate with a fireworks display at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.).
All entertainment and activities are free to the public, but North Brunswick High School will pre-sell tickets for hamburger and hot dog dinners that evening. Dinner tickets are $5 and can be purchased from NBHS student athletes, band, JROTC and chorus members or coaches. Tickets are also available at the NBHS office.
The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
