LELAND, NC (WECT) - The annual Founders’ Day celebration is returning to the Leland area on Saturday, Sept. 8. This year’s founders’ days will celebrate the 23rd birthday of the town and is said to be the biggest party of the year.
The event will be held at the Brunswick Forest Commercial area just off of Highway 17. The town is currently looking to local businesses to sponsor children’s activities at the celebration. Last year’s event drew approximately 1,000 people and is expected to grow this year.
The event plans on hosting an “inflatable” carnival midway. Sponsors will be able to host a game, from giant skee ball to balloon darts – all while promoting their business.
For more information on sponsorship opportunities, call 910-332-4818 or visit the event website at www.townofleland.com/FoundersDay.
