BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Corning Credit Union broke ground Wednesday in Leland at the site of its new location, according to a Corning spokesperson.
The new site is on U.S. Hwy. 17 in the Waterford Village development. Construction will start within the next month, and the new branch will likely open by the end of the year.
The branch will replace the credit union in the Logan Homes Building at 60 Gregory Road, which is a smaller space. The new space will include a large lobby, multiple drive-thru lanes and a drive-thru ATM.
