Free health exams to be offered soon | Children

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Free health exams will be offered in Brunswick County, according to the county’s website.

They will be offered Saturday, Sept. 15 and Sunday, Sept. 16 at the Brunswick County Health Department, which is located at 25 Courthouse Drive in Bolivia.

The following types of exams will be available:

• Adult health screenings
• Child health screenings
• Blood pressure checks
• Cholesterol screenings
• Glucose screening
• Immunizations
• Dental exams
• Vision exams (Lion’s Club of Southport)
• Prostate exams

Mammograms and dental sealants (grades 2 - 6) will also be offered, but appointments for those must be made in advance by calling 1-888-428-4429.

All other services are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

No registration ID is required.
