Open house for future Leland Cultural Arts Center to be held Saturday
LELAND, NC (WECT) – The public is invited to tour the future Leland Cultural Arts Center on Saturday, May 19.
The Town of Leland is hosting an open house from 9 a.m. until noon at 1212 Magnolia Village Way, according to a news release for spokesperson Niel Brooks.
In June 2010, Leland purchased the unfinished 18,000-square foot building just off Hwy. 17 for just over a third of its tax value, Brooks said. Possible uses for the facility include “arts and crafts programming, group dance and fitness, classroom activities, meetings, receptions, performing arts and much more.”
