Lions Club offering $20,000 prize to winner of Golf Ball Drop | Community Spirit

LELAND, NC (WECT) – The North Brunswick Lions Club is offering folks the chance to win $20,000.

According to the Lions Club website, the club will be dropping 1,000 numbered golf balls onto Dale Field from a helicopter at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Prior to the drop, a predetermined number will be chosen.

Should one of the dropped golf balls that land within a designated circle match the predetermined number, the person who picked that numbered ball will win the $20,000 grand prize.

The nine closest golf balls within the circle are eligible for a $100 consolation prize.

The winner be called or emailed.

The deadline to enter is Friday, Oct. 19. A rain date is scheduled for Nov. 3.

The proceeds from the event will go towards Lions Club projects.
