Kids learn confidence, magic at 'No Sleeves Magic Camp'

WILMINGTON,NC (WECT)- There's more to magic than a wave of the wand and the "now you see it, now you don't." Learning to command an audience's attention and successfully execute a magical illusion takes a high level of confidence-- a trait the founder of 'No Sleeves Magic Camp' hopes to pass on to the camp visitors.

The camp has held the Wilmington Parent Magazine title for 'Best Day Camp' for the past two years, and 'Best Family Entertainment' for the past 6, and now they're partnering with the Town of Leland for the first time, as well.

Camp will run in Leland June 17-21 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Leland Parks and Recreation Center/ Annex.

It will also run in Wilmington July 8- August 9, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Monday- Friday at 3902 Market Street at Pearsall Church activity center.

The camp is for children ages 7-13 years.
