BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is moving forward with taking over the county’s Animal Services.
The sheriff’s office recently started to make some changes to the facility in an effort to get more animals adopted.
Trees were cleared out of an area to make way for a place for people to walk dogs around before deciding if they want to take them home.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said they are getting ready to paint the building and vehicles.
