BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Brunswick County school officials met with delegates in Raleigh Wednesday to discuss public school issues and a draft proposal regarding arts integration, according to a press release.
The group reportedly met with Senator Bill Rabon, Rep. Frank Iller and Rep. Dewey Hill.
Brunswick school officials who went along on the trip include Board of Education Chairwoman Shirley Babson, Superintendent Edward Pruden, Teacher of the Year Laura Hunter, Curriculum Coordinator Connie Enis, School Counselor Carolyn Cogdell and Brunswick County Arts Council President Jeanette Serens.
