Leland mayor sets office hours | News

LELAND, NC (WECT) - Office hours are usually something associated with college professors instead of politicians. But that’s not stopping one Brunswick County mayor with confronting her town’s challenges face to face.

Leland Mayor Brenda Bozeman will offer open office hours starting Tuesday. She said with a state investigation into the police department and other issues with the department, she wants to clear the town’s name.

She said she hopes residents will come to her with problems so she can address them. She will hold open office hours Tuesdays from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and by appointment.
