BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Brunswick County Commissioner Charles Warren filed to run for re-election to his seat on the Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday.
The filing deadline is Wednesday at noon. Warren told WECT.com last week that he was still trying to figure out his future plans and he was considering re-election or a bid for the House. Warren, a Republican, faces three other Republicans who have already filed to run for the position -- Joe Agovino, Jwantana Frink and Pat Sykes.
Warren has been at odds with his fellow commissioners this past year over his position on the Department of Social Services Board in Brunswick County. Commissioners voted to remove him from that position earlier this month.
