Man's car destroyed in Brunswick Co. fire | News
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Several agencies were on the scene of a fire that sparked Friday afternoon on Pinecliff Drive, off of Maco Road and just outside of Leland.
A man was allegedly sleeping in a camper just outside of a mobile home when he awoke to loud popping. His garage was on fire, and everything inside of it was destroyed, including a car that he had just put $4,000 worth of work into.
Flames spread to nearby woods, burning less than half of an acre.
NC Forestry officials were on the scene to prevent the fire from spreading any further.
No injures have been reported.
