NCDOT investigates dangerous curve along Hwy 133 | News
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Experts are taking a closer look at a dangerous curve along Highway 133 in Brunswick County.
The investigation stems from a recent accident that killed Aaron Burke Jr.
The NC Department of Transportation is surveying the area near Orton Plantation.
The DOT secured funds for the investigation to determine if there are any dips or uneven spots in the pavement.
They are considering pavement widening, adding rumble strips and a guardrail along the road.
It is unclear when their investigation will be complete.
