Brunswick Co. officials search for robbery suspects | News

LELAND, NC (WECT) - Brunswick county detectives are investigating a robbery that happened at the BB&T at Brunswick Forest Wednesday night, according to a press release.

According to officials, the incident happened as an employee of a local business attempted to submit a daily deposit. The victim described one suspect as a black male and believes the second suspect is a black male as well, but he was wearing a mask.

The victim did not see a weapon at the time of the robbery. She recalls a dark color SUV or truck may have been used, but is unsure.

Both suspects were seen on foot going back into Brunswick Forest, according to detectives.

The suspects have not been located. Detectives are actively investigating this matter.
